The latest results of our field study on a farm in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania can be found in the March issue of Elite-Magazin. In this study a control group was compared with animals that were given boli at 4 different time points. Blood samples were taken several times and cases of illness were recorded. The proportion of downer cows was reduced by 2.5 times, and the bolus animals had a higher and more stable calcium level than the control animals. The complete article can be found on page 32.
